| Mose Pleasure, III - Musical Director
Mose was raised in New Orleans in a home where his mother sang opera along with his dad and uncle. Trained in classical music since the age of 4, he received his BA Degree in Concert Organ Performance from Dillard University of New Orleans. It was during his college years that he was introduced to and developed a passion for gospel music. He began playing for several local gospel groups. The mixture of gospel and classical music has given Mose a special touch both in his performing and his productions. In January of 2005, Mose retired from his Pastor of Music position to pursue his lifelong dream of producing and becoming a concert artist. During this same period, Mose began playing for musical productions at PCT. His first CD solo project, Expressions In Light, was released in 1993. It was a mixture of classical, gospel, and jazz instrumental arrangements. He has now released his second CD, Broadway On Ivory, which is a compilation of Broadway tunes arranged for the Grand Piano. Mose is honored to have performed on the prestigious Lay Family Organ inside the beautiful concert hall of the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas on two different occasions. |

Meg Parker Wilson - Teacher Meg Parker Wilson is blessed and excited to be a new teacher at Plano Children’s Theatre. She is a recent graduate from Southwest Baptist University in Missouri where she received her BA in Theatre and Communications and played an active ‘role’ in every production including acting, costuming, directing, and design. Her favorite productions to work on include Last Train to Nibroc, Fiddler on the Roof, The Glass Menagerie, Machinal and Little Women, in which she was an Irene Ryan nominee for her role as Amy March.
After spending some time studying film in Los Angeles, Meg got married and moved to Texas. She just celebrated her one month anniversay with her wonderful and supportive husband. Meg feels that theatre can be an important part of creating community, spurning dialogue and fostering change by thinking “outside the box” and working together. She is looking forward to a great year of learning and growing with her kids at PCT! |

Megan Woodall - Director and Artistic Coordinator Megan literally grew up with the Plano Children’s Theatre - she was one PCT's first students eighteen years ago. She attended the Arts Magnet School in Dallas and graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1999. While attending Collin College, she was nominated for the Irene Ryan Award three consecutive times and was honored to be a part of the first regional cast ever to perform William Finn's A New Brain, where she won Quad C's Best Supporting Actress award for her portrayal of Nancy D. Megan has performed around the DFW metroplex for years. Some of her favorite roles include Winnifred in Once Upon A Mattress (GCT, Column Award for Best Actress), Ado Annie in Oklahoma (GSM, Leon Rabin Nomination for Best Supporting Actress) and most recently, Dora in Fiorello (Lyric Stage). While playing Kate in Titanic at Lyric Stage in Irving, she had the privilege of being directed by Broadway director Drew Scott Harris. Shortly afterward, Mr. Scott invited her to understudy Tony nominated actress Marla Schaffel as Maria Rainer in the National Tour of The Sound of Music. After The Sound of Music closed, Megan moved to New York City and lived there happily for 4 years. While in New York, she was cast in the TheaterWorks' first national tour of Henry and Mudge. While on tour, she performed in many places across the country, but her favorite was when she performed on Broadway. It was thrilling! Megan is happy to be back in this area doing what she loves best - guiding youth actors to find their greatest performance and to share it with all of you. Megan is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association. |
