I am delighted that you are taking a look at PCT and MYT. For many years these theatres have been a place where so many young people have found a home and a purpose.
I recently heard a parent tell a story about her daughter that highlights what we’re about here. This young girl was in 3rd grade and it was her first production at PCT. Although not cast with a lead part, she did receive a medium sized role. During the last show the entire cast was crying and hugging... They did not want this show to end, they had bonded so much. That night driving home, the young girl looked at her mother, tears still streaming down her face and said.... "Mom, I think I know what I want to do with the rest of my life.” It brings me such joy knowing that this young girl is fulfilling her dreams. PCT was the first place that showed her that she has the ability and potential to follow her dreams of being a Broadway actress!
