Be In A Major Production
Quite the Production
PCT and MYT put on more than 30 productions each year. Cast members experience everything they would in a professional production – auditions, casting, line memorization, blocking, choreography, props, set build, costumes, lighting, make-up and more.
Auditions will be held for specific parts at the first rehearsal...
Director casts the parts within a week of the auditions...
Major productions typically involve 50 hours of rehearsal over several months...
The weekend prior to the show's opening, parents and older students will build the set...
Each production has a technical rehearsal the Mon-Thur prior to opening night. This includes dress rehearsal, lighting, etc...
Most productions include eight performances over two weekends.

Tuition to be in a production is $250. You can reserve a space by paying a $35 registration fee with the tuition balance being paid in two installments after casting has been announced. Tuition is non-refundable. If an actor must drop the class, a pro-rated tuition will be held on account and may be used for future classes/productions minus the $35 non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee.
Cast member families receive eight complimentary tickets, but must additionally sell (or purchase) 15 tickets. Families that attend and assist with set-build receive a $50 "Good Citizenship Award" that may be applied to future tuition.
