Plano Children’s Theatre has assembled a strong board of directors. Together, these members have more than 200 years of experience in business, management, human resources, sales, marketing, finance and performing arts. Not only do these individuals have outstanding business accomplishments, their children are active participants with the theatre having performed in more than 130 productions combined.

Darrell Rodenbaugh, President
Darrell Rodenbaugh was a new addition to the PCT Board of Directors in December, 2010. His family has been supporting PCT in various roles for the past three years. Darrell spent over 25 years in the high-tech industry in sales, marketing and general management roles with IBM, Oracle, Yahoo! and i2 Technologies. He retired after seven years with McAfee this past summer where he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of its global Small and Medium Business division.

Elly Marsh, First Vice President
Elly has been actively involved with PCT since 2009. She brings strong marketing and sales expertise to the board having been with HP/EDS for 26 years. Elly currently manages product marketing for Data Center and Cloud Services at HP, a $6 billion/year business that holds the number two position in global market share. She is a Sunday school teacher and also volunteers with several organizations, including the Samaritan Inn, and various parent association roles at her children's school. In addition to her second term on the PCT board, she has previous board experience with the Alliance Francaise of Dallas. Elly has a 9 year old daughter and 14 year old son.

Steve Kusters, Second Vice President
His youngest son has been involved in several productions over the past several years and Steve’s involvement in PCT has grown during that period. He is employed by Verizon Business which is part of Verizon Communications and a sister company to Verizon Wireless. As Manager of Pricing and Contract Management, Steve and his team are responsible for financial modeling, RFP pricing and contractual negotiations of large Outsourcing, Integration opportunities.

Matt Faley, Treasurer
Matt is a Midwest native and has spent the last twelve years in public accounting. Matt relocated to Plano in March 2012 taking the role of CFO for a Dallas-based company. Matt has held numerous not-for-profit Board positions including Boy Scouts, PTA and accounting societies. Matt and his wife Kristi have three children: Matthew (17), Rachel (15) and Sarah (9). Matt most recently played the role of Jacob Marley in Scrooge and has performed in several productions at the community theatre level..

Autumn Melcer, Secretary
Autumn Melcer is a professional writer with over 12 years' experience creating compelling, results-oriented copy for non-profits. She’s been part of the Plano Children’s Theatre family since her daughter began taking classes there 6 years ago.

Elaine Alsup
Elaine has been actively involved with the theatre for more than 3 years. She is Owner and President of River Tan Boutique and has seven years of experience in Human Resources with the cities of Forney and Rowlett. Her volunteer experience includes working with the Garland ISD and Girl Scouts. She has served on the board of directors of her homeowner's association and the Rowlett Women's Club.

PC Christopher, MBA
PC has been actively involved with the theatre for more than 4 years and has served as a past president on the Board of Directors. He is an organizational effectiveness and efficiency expert with an MBA degree from Vanderbilt University. PC recently joined Avaya Communications after 20 years with Nortel Networks. Additionally, he is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and is certified in Change Acceleration Protocol.

Corrie Edmonson
Corrie brings to the board 14 years of educational experience, as a teacher and administrator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Special Education. Corrie and her family became involved at PCT several years ago through her son’s involvement in the theatre.
Corrie has a passion for helping children reach their highest potential. She believes the theatre helps children grow creatively, academically, and socially. Corrie wants all children to feel the love and acceptance her son has experienced at PCT.

Steve Flad
Steve’s children have been involved in numerous productions over the past 2 years, and as a result his entire family has enthusiastically volunteered for many functions. Presently, he is employed as the Director of Staffing for Stark Holding, Inc with 20+ years of talent acquisition, recruiting, business development, networking, contract negotiation, business operations, and marketing and sales in the Engineering, IT, Oil & Gas, Energy, and Accounting fields. Previously, he owned and operated this same company he now works for as he and his prior partner sold their company (Stark Technical Group) in 2009. He is a deacon at church, and has volunteered with several organizations, including Boy Scouts (Trained Leader), WatchDogs (PISD), as well as Youth Athletics coaching. He has served on other local and regional boards and committees, his experience with the NACCB (now TechServe), Homeowners Associations, Booster Clubs, and the MTBC will add to his service as a new board member for PCT.

Kevin Goldsmith
Kevin brings over 10 years of IT experience to the board. He is employed at CA Technologies as a Manager of IT Security and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Kevin holds a
Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Kevin has also given his time to other Plano community organizations, volunteering with Chamberlain Performing Arts and the North Texas chapter of the Information Systems Security Association.

Bob Morgan

Bob Morgan joined the Board of Directors in October. He was born and raised in Burlington, VT, and has lived in Pittsburgh, PA, Syracuse, NY, Albuquerque, NM and now in McKinney, TX. He has been in the mortgage industry for 20 years and is currently the Western U.S Regional Manager in Foreclosure Prevention for Fannie Mae. Bob's hobbies include travel, golf and gardening, and we can count on him to bring strong creativity and business organizational skills to PCT. He is married to Liliana Childs Morgan and his daughter Amanda Childs is active in the theatre.

Ben Sheahan, MSEE

Ben is the Chairman of our Scholarship Committee and he has been actively involved with the theatre for more than 4 years. He has a Master’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and is currently a Senior Design Engineer at DIODES, Inc. Ben currently holds five United States Patents for inventions in the fields of hard disk drive and fiber optic communications. Previously, he worked at Texas Instruments for 19 years and at National Semiconductor for 3 years. He has led successful design teams that span several continents. He has completed over twenty marathons and two ultra-marathons. His volunteer work includes helping the poor through the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, a Catholic organization. Ben and his wife Bobbi have four children.
