The Miracle Worker

The true story of Helen Keller who was struck with an illness as an infant that left her blind, deaf, and consequently mute. Pitied and badly spoiled by her parents, she learned no discipline and grew into a wild, raging creature by the age of six. Desperate, the Kellers hired Annie Sullivan to serve as a governess and daughter for their seemingly hopeless daughter.
This play captures the raw beauty of what happens when Annie refuses to give up on the possibilities for Helen’s life. Her persistence led to a miracle that forever changed the world.
