Mose Pleasure, III - Musical Director
Mose was raised in New Orleans in a home where his mother sang opera along with his dad and uncle. Trained in classical music since the age of 4, he received his BA Degree in Concert Organ Performance from Dillard University of New Orleans. It was during his college years that he was introduced to and developed a passion for gospel music. He began playing for several local gospel groups. The mixture of gospel and classical music has given Mose a special touch both in his performing and his productions.
In January of 2005, Mose retired from his Pastor of Music position to pursue his lifelong dream of producing and becoming a concert artist. During this same period, Mose began playing for musical productions at PCT. His first CD solo project, Expressions In Light, was released in 1993. It was a mixture of classical, gospel, and jazz instrumental arrangements. He has now released his second CD, Broadway On Ivory, which is a compilation of Broadway tunes arranged for the Grand Piano. Mose is honored to have performed on the prestigious Lay Family Organ inside the beautiful concert hall of the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas on two different occasions.
